The Crockett Hotel

The front desk and valet service was wonderful! Can't ask for a better location. Small coffee shop and large restaurant on site. Cozy and love the historic pictures and signage everywhere. The rooms are small, especially the bathroom. Everything in the bathroom that is metal was rusted (shower fixtures, sink fixtures, exhaust fan, etc.). Bed was comfortable and room was clean.

Had a great visit at the Crockett Hotel! Our room was spacious and clean . It's located in a fun part of town only a short distance from the Riverwalk with lots of restaurants and shops . Shout out to Esteban who was the best valet- so courteous and efficient !

To be honest, everything wasn't perfect (the old carpet had stains...), but this place made our vacation great. The room was perfectly fine, and the rest of the place was clean and had everything we needed. The bathrobes were very comfortable. I especially recommend the tavern. Everything there was delicious, and the staff was very pleasant! And we especially liked the country music performer – it was incredible! The cafe by the river was terrible, and we thought our vacation was ruined. But in the end, we're returning with wonderful impressions and memories!

I opted to stay here instead of the pricey place my conference was being held at and I’m glad I did. It’s right next to the Alamo. You seriously step out and the Alamo is right there. Same goes for the San Antonio River Walk and the Mall. So, as far as location, this is the place. Everything you need is well within walking distance. The tavern inside their lobby serves tasty food as well. As for my room, it was cozy. Wasn’t super fancy, but it was clean and without smell. The shower also has great water pressure. Bed and pillows were also comfortable. Tv has plenty of channels to choose from, too. Everything kids will love, but it also had a 24/7 cat show playing which I appreciated. I would stay here again! Price was also very reasonable.

After multiple stays at Crockett and never seems to amaze me the quality and friendliness of the staff. From Leilan in valet waiting patiently for me to get off a conference call with a customer before she asked me the questions she needed to valet my vehicle. Jesse at the counter with all the great recommendations and events happening around the hotel during this stay. Rooms are clean and ready to go! Even the construction across the road was not load or an eye sore. Definitely my go to in SA; for business or personal travel.

Had an issue with my first room, but almost immediately transferred to another room. Seamless transition. Quite a line at check-in, but staffing issues are commonplace across all institutions lately. Eduardo was my fist staff impression and he was apologetic and kind regarding my wait. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, price was on the higher side of low-range for the area. Thank you for having me.

For the money, you cannot beat the Crockett. It is right across from the Alamo, a block away from the riverwalk, and in the heart of downtown. Excellent service staff, also. The rooms are a bit dated but if you’re looking for a comfortable, affordable weekend stay with some nice amenities, this is the place.

Everything about the location of the Crockett Hotel is great. It’s historical, right by the Alamo and riverwalk and good restaurants. Esteban at valet is quick to get your vehicle and provides helpful tips for my drive. Thank you for starting off my day with positivity .
